ARCH1101 STUDIO SESSION ONE

A. A CREATIVE WORK

Since I do not have any of my high school works with me. This drawing is created by me using 'Google SketchUp' from last year. The image shows an accommodation with many facilities located at the coast. There was no specific object/building that inspired me for the design. The interesting part is the spiral shaped stairs going up the roof top.

B. THE BUILDING THAT INSPIRED ME TO BECOME AN ARCHITECT

Milwaukee Art Museum on Lake Michigan. As you can see, it looks like a flying bird or an angel shark from this angle. And it actually looks like a sailing boat from the side. Those wings really interest me, the shape match perfectly with its location and looks like it is plunging into the Lake!

C. SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL

This picture is taken at Coogee Beach just before sun rise. I really like the way how the sun hiding behide the clouds which produce a beautiful color up in the sky. Waves are so lively that you can even hear the wave by looking at this image. Also, there is big contrast between the sun light and waves since they represent the warmth and cold in my opinion. I hope my house is built on the cliff so that i can enjoy this gorgeous scene every morning.
